About Me

grad  I graduated from the University of North Alabama in December of 2016. I knew that I wanted to major in English since I was in ninth grade. When I got to college, I had three concentrations to choose from. I instantly chose Professional Writing because it was so incredibly broad. I was excited to start something that had so many potential outcomes for me to explore.

As a bit of a history nut, I had already determined that that would be my minor. However, a professor asked me if I knew about the new HCI/UX minor that UNA had just recently incorporated. I had no idea what Human-Computer Interaction /  User Experience was, but I knew it sounded exciting and profoundly useful. I changed my mind on the spot and I was greatly satisfied with that decision.

Writing and editing have been at the top of my greatest passions for years. Pursuing this field has not always been easy, but it is a dream I will never be willing to give up on.
